Like a lot of writers Satima has worked at many different jobs and read very widely. “I’m the only person I know who's been both a ballet teacher and pig farmer.” Her reading ranges from non-fiction of various kinds to high fantasy. As a result she has an editor’s eclectic range of knowledge, none of which would qualify her to actually do anything other than edit — except maybe Astrology, at which she’s earned a living, or part thereof, from time to time.
