The Specusphere is currently being maintained entirely by volunteers and any expenses related to the site are being funded by those volunteers. In order to keep this free magazine going in the future, we are attempting to raise money through advertising and donations. If you wish to support this service to the speculative fiction community, please contact us.

Advertising
Advertising with The Specusphere is an ideal opportunity for event organisers, publishers, distributors and general businesses within Australia to reach a growing list of potential customers. Our website appeals to a wide range of people, including fans of popular culture, writers, artists, publishers and distributors—especially those with an interest in speculative fiction.

Our site is also designed to attract readers, fans of television series, movie-buffs, gamers, etc. Our most popular articles and reviews are a hotspot for targeted advertising. You can see which are the most popular articles by clicking through the Reviews and Articles categories. Take a look at Game Reviews, for example. You can see how many hits those articles have received.

Hits are different to unique visitors; a hit is counted every time an image is loaded or a page is loaded. Unique visitor statistics are even more useful as they tell us how many unique visits have occurred on the site. We currently have over 300 people on our registered mailing list and you are welcome to advertise in our email bulletin.

Images

Please submit images for adverts in JPG format (*.JPG, *.JPEG), with RGB colour setting and 72dpi. Get the image dimensions from existing ad images on the website (right-click and go to 'Properties'). Note that we can design graphics or advertisements for you, but an extra fee will apply.

We can accept PayPal, cheque, money order or direct transfers.
