Myths, Legends and Storytelling

"Therefore, even the lover of myth is in a sense a philosopher; for myth is composed of wonders." — Aristotle (384–322 B.C.)
The Specusphere is interested in how myths and legends interact with storytelling (fiction). Ancient mythology is ingrained in fiction and new myths are being created all the time. These myths all count towards the growing body of speculative writing and they filter into all works of creativity, including books, artwork, television, movies, theatre, music and games.
We are interested in what you have to say about this interaction, so please submit your articles to us here.
The following list is a roadmap to finding anything on The Specusphere that relates to myths and legends. It is a work-in-progress and we are keen to find someone who is willing to take over this genre section. Contact us if you're interested.
